Positive Images of Older People
Positive Images of Older People is a collection of photographs commissioned by EAC. Contributors are encouraged to propose existing photographs, or a theme for a new series.
- The subjects’ permissions must be sought and given for the use of the photographs as general illustrations on agreed printed materials, leaflets, brochures, etc., and website of EAC and of other EAC- approved organisations.
- The photographs will not be used for commercial purposes.
- The subjects retain the right to withdraw their permission at any time (without retroactive effect on previously published material).
Positive Images are used by EAC itself, and also made available to EAC-approved organisations at a nominal and negotiable charge – usually £30 to £50 (of which 50% goes to the photographer) for one use only, in one single publication (or website page) of agreed limited circulation.
If a Positive Image is to reach the public at large (campaign, posters, book), a further permission must be obtained by direct negotiation with the photographer.
