Participate in & contribute to EAC
Elderly Accommodation Counsel is a specialist agency working alongside many others that deliver services to older people. We welcome opportunities to explore ways of working in partnership, particularly with those who provide services complementary to our own.
Visit our collaborative website www.HousingCare.org which illustrates some of the ways in which this has been achieved.

EAC Over 60s Art Awards
EAC's annual event is open to all amateur artists over 60. It is a national competition that reaches its climax with an exhibition of finalists at London's Mall Galleries, and the award of substantial prizes to the winners.
We particularly encourage participation by older people who live in sheltered & retirement housing or in a care home, or who attend art classes in day centres and elsewhere. For them there is a special prize of £1,000, split £500 to the artist and £500 to be spent for the benefit of all the residents of their housing scheme, care home, centre or club.
We ask everyone who works with older people - housing managers & landlords, care home managers & activities organisers, housing advisors, day centre staff and home care visitors - to help publicise Art Awards, and encourage the older people you meet to get involved. Art Awards provides great pleasure thousands of older people, as well as publicity for the good work you do!
Art Awards 2006 attracted 1,500 entries, from which our judges selected 123 finalists for display at the exhibition. Art Awards 2007 is now underway, and we look forward to your involvement!
