HOOP report

HOOP ('Housing Options for Older People') is a technique to help older people appraise their housing options.  This detailed report tells the story of its development, and considers when and where the tool proved helpful to older people, and where it did not.  It’s potential use to housing providers is also considered.

Since the development of the HOOP tool in 1998, EAC has created a web version entitled How well does your home suit you? (sometimes referred to as HOOP Online).  HOOP Online offers suggested solutions to housing problems identified by users.
